Erasmus Staff Mobility Program with Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany
Monash University has received funding via Justus Liebig University of Giessen for both Academic and Professional staff to participate in the Erasmus Staff mobility program.
Global Engagement is inviting Academic and Professional staff to submit an expression of interest to participate in the mobility program to enhance the relationship between the two universities.
Academic staff: the program allows staff to teach at Justus-Liebig University (JLU) in a compatible subject field that can be integrated into the existing curriculum of JLU.
Professional staff: the program supports the professional development of non-teaching staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing/observation periods.

Duration: 12 days including travel days but this may vary. Academic staff are expected to undertake 8 hours of teaching per day whilst Professional staff undertake 6 hours per day.
Funding: €2540 per participant (includes €1,100 travel and €1,440 subsistence)
How to apply: Submit an expression of interest to Global Engagement with your CV, including reasons for wanting to undertake the mobility program (motivation letter) and the activity that will be undertaken at the partner.
Closing date for applications: Tuesday 28 February 2017 for stays between April and June 2017
